Wedding Spaces: Wedding spaces at the farm include the gazebo and flower garden lawn and oak tree areas. All of our spaces are outdoors and there is no indoor space available for the wedding ceremony or reception. We recommend that you work with your caterer to rent an adequate tent in case of inclement weather. We do have indoor restrooms with flush toilets, a large walk-in cooler and some storage space that can be used by the caterer or wedding party. We have indoor dressing areas that can be used by the wedding party on the day of the wedding.
Catering: For our 2009 season and beyond, our exclusive caterers for weddings and events are: Culinary Artistry, Delilah's' Catering, Devil's Food Catering, Popp Catering and Events, Simpatica Catering and Vibrant Table Catering & Events. These wonderful caterers prepare menus utilizing fresh ingredients grown on here on the farm. We do require that all events and weddings utilize one of these fine caterers for all food and beverage (including alcohol) service. Download a list of caterers here.
Alcohol: All alcohol service must be arranged through your catering company. We do not allow self-service alcohol.
Equipment: We have 150 natural wood wedding chairs, nineteen 60" round tables and twelve rectangular banquet tables. We also have two 20' x 20' white tents. Our equipment is included in the rental price. All other equipment will need to be rented from a rental company and our caterer will happily take care of this for you.
Schedule: A daily rental is from 9 a.m. - 12 midnight on the date selected and includes all set-up, clean-up and tear-down/load-out time. In accordance with noise ordinances, all music must end by 10 p.m. Other activities can continue until 11 p.m. to allow for adequate time to clean up and be off the property by midnight.
Music, Dogs and Other Stuff: We allow amplified music on the property. You may have a band or DJ of your choice. In kindness to our island neighbors, we will determine volume levels on all amplified music. In accordance with noise ordinances, all music must end by 10 p.m. Some people rent a dance floor while others choose to dance on the grass. We can arrange for a tractor driven hayride to transport guests or give the bridal party a ride. And, yes, we do allow leashed dogs on the property.
Cost: Our wedding prices for summer of 2009 are as follows: Saturdays between July 1 and September 25 are $2500 and include a 40' x 60' tent. Fridays and Sundays during this same time period are $2000 (40' x 60' tent included). All other dates are discounted accordingly. The equipment listed above is included in the rental fee. The catering fees and additional equipment are something that is negotiated directly with the caterer. The fees cover the site and equipment from 9 a.m. - 12 midnight.
